Investigators tracking the route of the Hyundai i20 used in the Delhi bombing have uncovered fresh CCTV evidence showing the vehicle passing through the Badarpur toll plaza on its way from Faridabad to the Red Fort area.
The car was allegedly driven by Dr Umar Mohammad, suspected to be the suicide bomber behind the explosion that claimed at least nine lives and injured over 20 others.
According to sources, the CCTV footage captured at 8:13 am on Monday shows a masked Mohammad collecting a toll receipt at the Badarpur plaza, which marks the border between Haryana and Delhi.

The car was first sighted near Asian Hospital in Faridabad around 7:30 am, before moving towards Delhi. It crossed Badarpur toll around 8:13 am, was spotted in Okhla by 8:20 am, and later reached the Red Fort vicinity.
Investigators said the car was parked in a lot near the Red Fort around 3:19 pm and remained there until about 6:30 pm, with Mohammad reportedly staying inside throughout, possibly fearing that the explosives might be detected.
Roughly 22 minutes later, the i20 was seen moving slowly along Netaji Subhash Marg, close to the Red Fort Metro station, when it suddenly exploded.
The impact tore the vehicle apart, scattering debris and human remains across the area.
At least nine nearby vehicles, including six cars and two e-rickshaws, caught fire or suffered extensive damage.
Additional CCTV clips and photographs, released on Tuesday, trace the i20’s movement from Faridabad into Delhi.
Separate footage also shows three men obtaining a Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate for the same vehicle on October 29, which investigators are now examining as part of the probe.
